Château de Beynac, France

Château de Beynac is a castle in the department of Dordogne, France. It is one of the best preserved castles in the region. It is located on top of a limestone cliff, and was built in the 12th century by the barons of Beynac to close the valley. In 1944 it was registered as a historic monument by the Ministry of Culture. Parts of the 1999 movie, Jeanne d’Arc were filmed here. Thanks to Mylene.
