Fireworks at the Eiffel Tower in Paris
Paris’ most iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower. It’s located in Champ de Mars, a large public greenspace. It was erected in 1889 as the entrance arch to the 1889 World’s Fair. It is the tallest structure in Paris, and until 1930 the tallest in the world with a height of 324 meters. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel. The tower has 2 restaurants in the first 2 floors. Thanks to Frederic.
World famous Moulin Rouge in Paris
Moulin Rouge is a cabaret in Paris. It was built in 1889, it is widely known for its windmill on its roof. Today it is a tourist attraction, offering musical dance entertainment for visitors from around the world. The club’s decor still contains much of the romance of turn-of-the-20th-century France. Thanks to my friend Nellita, who just returned from her trip through Australia!
