The Tallinn Town Hall and square

The Tallinn Town Hall and square

Tallin is the capital and largest city of Estonia. It has a population of almost half million. It’s located in the northern coast of the country, on the banks of the Gulf of Finland. The Town Hall present form dates from 1402-1404, when it was rebuilt. ┬áIt is the only intact gothic style town hall in the Northern Europe. Thanks go out to Igor.

Cracow, Cloth Hall, Town Hall Tower

Cracow, Cloth Hall, Town Hall Tower

The Cloth Hall is one of the most iconic landmarks of Cracow. It was built in 1555 during the Rennaisance and was once a major international trade center, importing and exporting exotic goods. The Town Hall Tower can be observed behind the Cloth Hall and several houses surround the complex. Thanks to Agata for this nice card!
