Valparaíso is one of the most important seaports in Chile. It has a population of around 275 000. Prior to the opening on the Panama Canal, the city lived its golden ages. The National Congress is also lcated here. The city is famous for its curvy roads up the hills. The Funicular is a very popular way of transportation in the city.
