Ohrid, Macedonia

Ohrid is a city in the Republic of Macedonia, with over 42 000 inhabitants. It is often referred as the Jerusalem of the Balkans for its many churches. The city is really picturesque and tourism is predominant. It is located southwest of the capital Skopje. In 1979 it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Thanks Ana!
