Basilica of Bom Jesus in Goa, India

The Basilica of Bom Jesus is located in Goa, India. It was completed in 1605 and holds the rests of St. Francis Xavier. In 1986 it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with other churches and convents of Goa.

The Taj Mahal, who has not seen this yet? It is a white marble mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife. The construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, employing thousands of artisans and craftsmen. In 1983 it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is widely recognized as the jewel of Muslim art in India. Thanks to Akhil again.

Dona Paula is a village and tourist destination in the suburbs of Panaji, Goa. Today it houses the National Institute of Oceanography. There are many popular tales about the sculpture on the right of the picture, the most popular urban legend is that the daughter of  a Viceroy jumped off the cliff when she was refused permission to marry a fisherman.
