Lisboa & Porto

 

These cards were sent by Dinis. The card from Porto shows the famous Ribeira, a popular and old part of the city. Porto is the second largest city in Portugal, only after Lisboa. On the card from Lisboa you can see the famous “electrico” a typical method of transportation in the city.

Óbidos Village

Obidos is a small town and seat of the municipality of the same name. Every July there is a medieval festival celebrated. The town is known as the Village of the Queens, since in medieval times, Kings would present the village as a wedding gift to their Queen. Many thanks to my friend Cindy for sending me this card!
